1. The credits can be used for many things to buy for your forum, example is owing a domain name(ex: .com/.net), to but more space for your gallery etc.

2.The reputation is just a system where you can add a positive or negative points to a user for some reasons, example, if you agree on his comments, other word for this is popularity.
