Having slanderous content removed from a forum?

A forum being hosted by Forumotion contains slanderous content pertaining to someone I know, and she is afraid that her employer may see it because the page comes up as one of the first results when you Google her name. I was wondering if it was possible to have this content removed? I can't use the litigation tool because the person who runs the forum in question is uncooperative and refuses to remove the content.

She can use that tool. But with this, she can only take her name of the forum. It will appear as guest on the forum. The content will still remain.
Also, there is no guarantee that google will reindex it or the old indexed content will vanish.

If this sounds okay to you, then use the unsubscribe tool.

Sorry, I should have clarified, somebody said something slanderous about somebody I know in a post on the forum, and used their name. I was wondering if I could get the thread on said forum removed. I can PM you the link if it would help.

have you reported this to the forums administrator or the report abuse tab in the footer of the the forum, there is also a report tab in the post.

you first have to report it to them, and then if they do not remove it you can report it to forumotion litigation's.

But have you ever heard the saying talk is cheap, i mean i dont know what it says and how bad it may be.. try reporting it to the admin,report abuse tab in the forums footer or the post report tab in the post.

If they do not remove it you can get a screen shot,links and be sure to explain you have reported it to the admin of the forum as well but they did not remove it.

litigation's goes to forumotion litigations team and or onlineguardian only.
any forum that is reported to litigation the admin have no way of seeing the report or even know it was reported.

Oh, I was under the impression that litigation sent the complaint to the administrator of the forum I have an issue with, thank you for the help I'll do that right now.
