Solved banner directory

Post by Adam360 January 3rd 2011, 10:29 am

I want to redirect people to different places when they click different parts of my banner, for example,

half the banner will say xbox 360, the other half says PS3

if i click the xbox side, it takes me to the xbox 360 html page, but if i click the PS3 side, it redirects me to ps3 HTML page.

I think you should make a banner that has 2 sides, maybe you can make use Flash, Flashvortex, or any other program, sorry I'm not an expert in making banner. Very Happy

the only way i know of doing it would be to have it cut in half but put together so it looks as if it's one.

You will only be able to add one click-able link per image as far as i know, unless may use some table codes to have more images in with it.

Whats you banner look like.. i may be able to cut it in two and still make it look like one. i would have to see it.

or like said above if you have a good flash program to make flash banners you may be able to add more links?

its the banner for my actual forum.

here is the picture, i want it so that when you click any part of the banner it'll redirect you to one of my html pages, i realise that cutting it would be difficult.

banner directory Getimage.asp?m=79&o=3209&i=42192

this would all have to be placed in a html code.
You would have to have the separate pic's in the order you want them and a different link added to each image.

What is the forums link and version.. i may be able to give a couple suggestions on the best way to go about it and keep the appearance best as possible.

Or you can go with something like wix.
They have options to make flash banners where you would be able to add in your images separate, then add to a link.
The only problem with that is wix would also have a ad link that would go back to their site. But you can have this removed from the coding for a small price.

You can check it out if you like.Other then a small add link it is free.

I can make a small example banner for you latter tonight when i get home from school

[color=red]info added [/red]

see here is something i did with just adding text real fast.
but you would be able to add your images, background, flash effect etc.. and also adjust the size you want.

So just a real simple example, that's all i have time for now.
But you can see the lil wix add thingy in it.. but you can pay to have it removed.

Code:
<embed src="http://static.wix.com/client/app.swf" quality="high" allowNetworking="all" allowScriptAccess="always"  allowFullScreen="true" FlashVars="pageId=Fnex3Xrn7_A-a&embedFormat=websites&embedID=tX8f_OaWgrVskYXGBAlazg7TTP66dGdbV;VOXIrA3gBj4hrzgumfFaC6;l2vWJfTa&partner_id=WMGs4POB1ko-a" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="800" height="250" base="http://static.wix.com" scale="noscale" salign="tl" ></embed>

opps that is a bad example... hehe
I'll do a better one latter, or like i said you can do your own by scratch using html coding.
But will have to have a lil knowledge of html
