Other way to manage suggestions: 20 positive votes, then, archived
Hi.
I would like to suggest another way to manage suggestions.
Actually, here, a member from Staff looks at suggestion forum and decide wich are the most usefull and moves them to the archived suggestion section...but he/she does it ones a year, so...lots of nice suggestions gets forgoten...
So, I suggest, another way for decide if a suggestion is archived or not.
When someone writes a suggestion, Staff leaves 1 month to vote, and, if that suggestion has 20 positive votes, then Staff moves it into Archived subforum...
This is the way the suggestion are managed in spanish support forum, and I think is a nice way to manage them...

It's how it's done on the French forum too and I really don't like it
The problem is that after, members come and propose the same idea again, and after that again and again and again. It's not the same member, but the same idea. At the end of the day, instead of having one old suggestion with 50+ votes, we end up with four-six suggestions with ten votes each and more work for the Gmods

Hello.
The way that suggestions are managed here doesnt avoid suggestions to be repeated.
Ive seen here several repeated suggestions.
It would be easier for users and Staff to manage suggestions in the way I said, because, from just a look, users could see if that they want to suggest is already suggested or not
It would be easy for technics, cause when techs would like to look into suggestions, they would know quickly wich suggestions are most voted.

The problem is here is that we have over 70+ pages and that we have one guy (Typlo) who is not going to do this. Typlo ask us to give him the most suggested/needed feature. I rather leave it the way it is now and lock and provide the link to the most suggested topic.

Caihlem and I reason behind this are enough to refuse this suggestion.
