Just to clarify
I saw in the content list states that pornographic materials are not allowed and I am wondering whether I can create a serious adult forum that discusses sexuality or whether that is in the no-go zone?

But that is what I am questioning, It is not pornographic per say but it is adult which is why I was hoping to catch an admin cause this is a bit of a grey area and a mod may not know.Mercy wrote:Yeah no pornographic forums allowed buddy. Looks like you gotta try another host.

Yeah well to be on the safe side (in case no admin responds) I'd just stay away from the subject, find another host as a back up that would allow such subject matter assuming the admins say no.

What they are offering no reasonable person would want that is why I came here I used to use it before and it was a brilliant site good coding few "major issues" so if they say no I will abandon the idea I won't pay for a C-grade service.Mercy wrote:Yeah well to be on the safe side (in case no admin responds) I'd just stay away from the subject, find another host as a back up that would allow such subject matter assuming the admins say no.

Someone asked the same question last week & 1 of the admin replied along the lines that the forums are all to be pg13.
If some things slip by it's probably not going to be a problem unless someone reports you & then forumotion well have no choice but to take some sort of action.
Even if your site is geared for adults it's still public access.
It's best to try to keep it clean.
