Solved One member's name appears in different color.

Post by Iirlane on January 10th 2011, 3:18 pm

May-be this question sounds stupid, but I would like to know why one member's name appears in different color in "Members in forum" list.

She isn't in any group or anything.

I noticed if I look some members profile, then it apears different color as well, but I haven't look this members profile.
Also checked with other computer as well, this one is dark green, others are grey.

EDIT> now there are two darker names... blackeye , usually only this one.

I don't mean bold text. I underlined with red the "one".
It might not look green in your screen.

Theres is very little different but it's there.

Now I start to think may-be members who left forum are different color, since name is still visible 30 min after they leave.

Yes, that's right. They change color so you can see that you clicked a link.

But I have not clicked on their names (link).
So there must be some other reason.

When I opened forum in other PC that same name was already darker.

So I don't know what the problem is.. maybe a problem with your CSS.. try looking there if you can. You can change the color there.

Deleting cookies didn't change anything.

The color is related to visited link color, but it remains mustery that even deleting cookies doesn't change anything and I didn't click on these names.
(Didn't visit link).
It's just happening few last days.
Are there anything has been changed in forum main codes?

It's happening in other forums as well.

Edit: I usully change colors in admi panel...."Colors" , not very good with CCS

Seems that only creator of forum seems the different because in other forum I didn't see the differents, but admin said she sees differents.
I changed her forum's visited link color to same as link and you have one more happy customer. Wink
