Any requirements to remove content and name after being banned?

Post by quick question on January 10th 2011, 6:03 pm

If someone is banned, and then requests their material and user name being removed from the site, what is the protocol, if any?

Thanks Lenwick.. They have asked for all their posts to be deleted. They have said that, had they not been banned, they could go and delete them (by editing and leaving one character behind, without their post. )

Is there any obligation?

If they are to be removed, can they be removed with one hit for the user, or would they need to be individually taken down?

Thank you.
Yes, I have read that.
My specific concern is that a banned member wants to modify his posts. He is banned and has no access to the forum where he had originally posted. Must he be allowed back on to the forum to change his posts? Is the forum obligated to either give him access, or remove them as per his request?

That is up to you. If it was me I would remove what he requires and leave him banned.

Sorry we don't have that. Sad But you don't have to delete all of their post.

From that topic I linked before.
It should be noted however that you cannot require of the administrator to remove all your messages (Except if they contain personal information making it possible to identify you formally).
