Solved Can a moderator change the warning level?

Post by Ezio March 14th 2011, 2:16 pm

recently I've recruited some of 'moderator' instead of 'admin, but they complain why they cann't give a warning level?
they can only banned,
but they can't change the warning level? or core. "moderators" can't change the user profile? whether only administrators are granted the right to change the users profile? beg explanation. Question Question
help me please.

Have you already tried to modify it in your administration panel?

Admin Panel > Usergroups > Users > Profiles > Warning Level > Who can modify the profile field value ? > Check to YES

Have you?

Thank-you for the advice. Very Happy I've tried to activate it.
but the moderators still don't have access to change the warning level.
when trying on one of the members, moderators only have access to "Ban This Member" and access
"Profile" doesn't have permission to moderator. whether it should join the group administrator?
does anyone have another solution?

If created a moderator group on your forum, make sure you have specified or given them a permission also to moderate sections.

Admin Panel > User Groups > Groups > Group Administration > Click Permissions icon Can a moderator change the warning level? Perms and be sure they can moderate at least one section for them to modify warnings.

I am also confused by this, because once the moderator can change the warning level. since I deleted the old group and create a new one, so, like this... Question

You are the admin right? Have you tried to use another account just to test if they are working. If yes. I cant see anything wrong about it. Maybe let us just staff to work on this thing.

ss from admin:

ss from moderator:

image can be larged.

but my feelings first, the moderator can give the right to change the profile, and my friend also said so. but now I forget Question Question Question , and a new moderator complaint against me. when I give the right as admin, I am afraid he ruffled the admin panel.

Did you click the option ion Modify in the profile field that says who can edit this field?
yeah moderators .the option is said.

You don't need to give then admin panel access. You hover over the warning bar and you will see a check mark. Click and and edit it.
