Re: new members
Look at the inactive section in the administration panel.
ACP/Users&Groups/Users/Inactive Members
That is where there account would be.

Yes, do as slg says and you need to check it regularly, however it's not a problem according to Forumotion.

Re: new members
It's most likely that the activation link is going to the members spam folder in their email account or they are not using their real email address.Oh or any address they have access to?
So it's up to Admin whether they want to activate someone or not.. but be sure to always tell members to check their spam folder if it dose not go to their main folder.
@kalliopi no it's not a forumotion problem.. this is why forumotion has these option in place. if an admin opts to have all members activate their selfs through email activation. then it most likely means they opt for this to be sure all members are coming from a real email that is their own.
And it will always go to either the main mail folder or spam folder as long as the member registered right and dint make a mistake on a email address.
But if a admin don't really care then they can just do the auto activation. or they have the option to always activate everyone there selfs as well.

Re: new members
Kirk, sorry I didn't mean to be disrespectful and I know fine well that on all forums there is a certain percentage of members who do not get the activation e-mail, the number one reason is that their e-mail provider has binned it and the second most common reason is that the new member has made a typo when adding inserting e-mail addy. However with, I won't say Forumotion, my forum anyway, there seems to be a very high percentage of users that do not get the activation e-mail. At a guess, I would say at least one third, it just seems strange and it's a nuisance.
