How to limit groups access on forums?

I've used different kind of adminboards, so I have some problems with limiting accessing on forums.
I have five different groups; admins, moderators, general, council and a member.
I want just highranked (admins, mods, generals and councils) writers to write in area called Council, and members to access an area "Secret information", which holds secret infos (surprise ) which is meant to just clan members.

How to do that?

My tutorial only outlines one group, but you can apply this to more than just one group.

EDIT: Perhaps I wasn't clear, but you need to modify the permissions of the particular forum in which you want to allow your group(s) to have access to.
