Ok if you have already bought the domain you should probably cancel it until everything is figured out. When it is set up and you know what to do purchase it again.

Also please use the search button and try to look it up. There may be many topics about this.

Before any more damage is made I'll clarify something.
Forumotion gets domains from Godaddy
We do allow users to bring outside domains to your forum
Please don't just say contact an admin
Please take a look at this topic http://help.forumotion.com/t7021-redirect-an-extern-domain-name-that-you-own-to-your-board

Have you gone into the Admin Panel and looked to see if your Forum has been updated? Otherwise talk to a technician.

You have to validate the domain name.
what is your Forum URL at the moment?
For example:
the box says: Domain Name http:// |_________________| so fill it in.
Domain Name http://www.example. (and then .com/.net/etc.)

Also make sure you have validated it on the domain site!
Please look at this carefully: http://help.forumotion.com/t7021-redirect-an-extern-domain-name-that-you-own-to-your-board
