Adding Background

when i first made a forum, i could add a background but now i cant

acn u help me add one, and movies

try go to : display > pics management > background & paste your link

and don't forget hit save before quit.

Admin Panel>> Display>> Pics Management>> Advance Mode>> General/Explore>> Background picture>> Paste an image url>> Save.

I comment on this in your other thread about music and movies.
Do you mean adding videos and stuff from like youtube etc..

If so you do it by your video option at the top of your subject board options.
for that you would just click on the video icon,add the link to where the video is from like youtube daily motion or google, then set your dimensions you want.

Or you can enable your html that will allow you to add embed codes for videos and everything else that may be html/embed codes.

Admin panel>general>messages and emails>configuration

Scroll down to allow html,select yest and hit save.

No go back on to the forum and click on

Profile>profile preferences

scroll down to always allow html select yes and hit save.

Now you will be able to add any embed codes for vids,movies,games etc...

pk yeah thats what i meant but how will i be sure where the videos are placed if i get them from youtube?

when you go to start a topic you will see the little video icon next to your font color options,flash add link ,font size etc.

So you can do it that way, or just have your html enabled like i have said before.

See look this is how it would be done with the bbcode option/add video option like i have explained above.



in your options they will show as youtube tags, but once you send the post through they turn into flash tags.. strange... lol

to activate your portal you have to go to

Admin panel>modules>portal>activate>hit save

If you want to add a music player with your own uploaded music go to

You just join/register witha free account, upload all the songs you want,create your play list then they will give you an embed code to be placed on your forum where ever you want it.

They have some other options for like auto play and shuffle etc.. as far as the players appearance options they do not realy have much on that, i think just green or black.. but it's one of the only free host i know that you can upload your own music to. so it's worth it for that.
