Moderator control panel?

Hi, I'm quite new in terms of being an admin and all, but I've been a moderator on a few other forums created with phpBB and they all seem to have a "moderator control panel" were moderators can view all bans issued, reports sent and also view private messages.
Moderators on my forum have been complaining about this and we've had to resort to a manual thread where mods post their warnings/bans etc., but this isn't working very well, and the reports can only be accessed via the admin panel.

Does anyone know how to activate it or the coding for one*

Thanks - I don't think I should have called it "mod control panel"
My mods do have this, what I need is an actual section if you like where mods can see all that has gone on - reports, bans, warnings and view IP's, and I've seen it on other forums so I know it's possible.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Unfortunately, only administrators can see the logs.
