Show Username

I edited the header template and put

Hi, { USERNAME }

But it only shows up as "Hi, ."

How do I show their username in Template Editing?

leave the spaces between "{" and USERNAME and"}"

That is what i did, i just couldn't type it because when I type { USERNAME } with no spaces this happens:

i don't know try in posts if it works there it should work too
