Solved Centering a widget

Post by Guruland on February 11th 2011, 10:56 am

I want to have a widget which appears on top of my "Forum content". Currently i have the option to add them to the left or right in a column, however i cannot see any option which allows me to add them on the top center.

Any ideas?

I basically did this (using your advice)

<center>
<script type="text/javascript"><!--
google_ad_client = "ca-pub-5990788931683045";
/* GO ads */
google_ad_slot = "1704199191";
google_ad_width = 728;
google_ad_height = 90;
//-->
</script>
<script type="text/javascript"
src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">
</script>
</center>

It still did not work, the message starts on the right (i am forced to have it on one of the sides) and overlaps a portion of the site, here is a screenshot:

What you are requesting i believe would take some template editing. I cannot help you there but would suggest the possibility of using the announcement option, to display your info.
acp>general>annoucements> there you can set option Where you display info(forum,portal,both). Hope that helps.

I don't think that's possible.

You can also add here positioned on the top/middle portion of the forum:
Admin Panel > Display > Generalities > Homepage message > Add there
