Hi again. I am genuinely sorry that all my posts so far have sadly been questions :/ I can't wait to start answering some questions myself once I know a little more about forumotion. I need a bit of help, could someone please tell me how to change the maintanence page? When we go down it just says myforumsname is down for maintanence. Could someone help?
Thanks,

Like I said, if you need help, just shout! We are here to help Very Happy

To change this:

ACP > General > Forum > Configuration > Forum in Construction. Click the "Customize" button to the right of it. There, you can edit it the way you want to.

Please note: You can only put your forum in construction mode for up to 24 hours at a time.

That should help!

You are very welcome!

To help you with your other question. Yes there is a way to edit the points(In your case, Bear Bucks), but you don't do it in the profile. You have to head in the ACP.

ACP > Modules > Points and Reputation > Points Donation > *Search for a User*

If you want to deduct points, do this:

Current number: +515
Want to take off: -20
New number: +495

And the same for adding points. You want to keep the "+" sign with the new total.

Thanks again Smile Is it possible to do a mass minus or add of points? I was thinking about giving all members 100 bb (bear bucks) to say thanks for waiting for our maintenance that should be happening pretty soon. I have 82 members so it would take far to long to add all those to everyone.

EDIT: I just did what you asked and I saw how to add points to usergroups. I posted the above message before I tested it out in ACP Wink Whats a link to your forum? I would love to see it Very Happy (or is it against the rules to post links :/)

No, it is not possible to do a mass point "giveaway", like you said, only to usergroups. I am sorry but I am not going to post my forum link on the post. It is considered advertising. Wink You can however, click the little Maintanence Page Icon_contact_www to the right under my avatar to visit my forum.

I have a few ideas to create pages maintenannce, first you click Forum on Construction and i think you can use this : go to admin panel > modules > HTML pages management > and you create a maintenannce pages, like me ! :

code HTML example
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/strict.dtd">
<HTML>
<HEAD>
<TITLE>Bargedoz - Maintenance is on the way</TITLE>
<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="45">
</HEAD>
<BODY style="background-color:#ffffff">

<center><div style="margin-top:20x"><div style="font-family:verdana;font-size:11px"><b>MAINTENANCE IS IN PROGRESS </div>

<img src="http://t2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSf_AGjpIHSJSmCJoiiZwk1wEvEtHlWA7A7xYSRxe-HEvMqCCgL" width="400" height="400"><div style="font-family:verdana;font-size:11px">follow us for updates & news @ForumBargedos </div>
</div>
</center>

<font color="#e6e6e6">14</font>

</BODY>
</HTML>

Hi,

I oppose to Harperboy's choice of words that you cannot do a mass give away.

First, you need to have a members group, and in that group is auto-subscribe at 0, now going to the points menu, and insert the number of points you wish to give them & hit save/submit.

You can't do a mass minus, unless you want everyone at the same negative value.

Harper, you don't need to have a "+" to make sure it's positive, the system does it automatically, just when you want negative you must put the "-" Wink
