Changing Permissions for Groups

Post by HammerHead on February 12th 2011, 7:31 pm

I have a group called Global Mod and I wanted to give them permissions to lock and unlock topics but not the full Admin permissions. Where do I go to do this, and is it possible.

ACP>users/groups> click the "modify"button(small orange icon to the right of the group in question)> you will then see a tab "permissions"> set permissions >enter/save.

Hello HammerHead,

To give your global moderators moderation powers, please go to:

1. Administration Panel (advanced mode)
2. General Tab
3. Categories and forums (on the left, under Forum)
4. Click the permissions sign () on the forum you would like them to have moderation powers in (advanced mode)
5. Check the box "Moderate" for the global moderators group

Repeat for all forums if necessary. Smile

Regards,

Base
