Moving URL from Forumotion
Hey All,
I was wondering if you could help me, I set up a website for a very small sports club back in October 2008 via forumotion (Lisburncitypaddlers.com). We have had many great years being hosted by forumotion, but as the club grew we added more pages to the forum to build it up as a website.
The club has grown substancially and we have a few IT guys who have build a new website. I have been asked to obtain the customer number and password details for godaddy so we can move the url to the new site.
As I understand it godaddy host the url, which we have paid for via forumotion (our url is good up to Sept 2011). As this is on forumotion's go daddy account we can not get access to it.
My Questions are firstly is it possible to move our url to a new website outside forumotion? And secondly if so how do i set about doing this?
Thanks for you help and sorry to be leaving forumotion,
Dave
