In Progress [2260] Some Sort of Gallery Glitch

Not that urgent, just thought I'd post this.

I noticed recently in gallery comments that back-slashes (\) are inserted before quotes (") ('). ie

From a quick look at some people\'s profiles...

No. He would get what he wanted and I would get what I wanted/needed.
And I don\'t appreciate being accused of deleting a picture.

And when I tried quoting something, it came out as...

The text in the galleries are just as important as the text in the rest of our forum.This bug has been in my gallery since Mon Jan 24, 2011.

It's been almost 3 months since this was last "bumped" and still the same problem exist in our Gallery,is there any possibility that one of the moderators could send this to the techs again? It's just a pain in the butt.

Bump, Come on now.Many of us pay good money for our Galleries and yet this keeps being ignored. This is not just a pain in the butt anymore,it's ridiculous.

(bump) It sure would be nice to have this fixed by Christmas.
Also,something new when trying to restore picture from the backup folder.
I keep getting this error message:

" Request limit exceeded
It appears that your computer has made too many requests on the same page recently. Please make sure your antivirus is up to date.

If you have any questions about this message, feel free to contact the support."

Hi,

I understand your frustration, and I am very sorry. Its still on the list of things to do and fix and since more and more bugs get reported (Like Security Bugs or server problems) the small bugs get pushed down the list and will take longer to fix. It's not been forgotten.

Alas, I have also found a related issue - if you use the ' in the search bar, back slashes come before & after it as well so it would become (for example) "remove \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'rank\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\' " Rolling Eyes
