Solved Problems with Topic Icons.

Post by Xx Pwn3d xX February 21st 2011, 10:49 am

My forums is not showing the selection of "Solved" it is automatically making every single thread "Solved".
Also I try to set the default as "Normal" and it selects "Announcement, Sticky and Normal".
Is there ANY way to fix this? If so your help would be much appreciated Very Happy
I have used a skin from the list of skins, would this effect it?

Hello Xx Pwn3d xX,

Make sure that you uncheck all the boxes for the default assignement (yes, there is a typo error in the settings) row. Very Happy

I have done that, it just re-selects them all again after I save it.

Actually, that tutorial was written by me and posted by MrMario. Wink

When you're creating a new topic icon, you should see a "default" one. I'm guessing that you've modified the default one instead of creating an entirely new one. From here, I suggest that you remove all the information you added to the default one and create a new topic icon.

You should see an image that has the word "Create" on it. Click on that and follow the instructions in the tutorial.

I have followed your tutorial, created it etc, it still does not work.
EDIT:
I followed your tutorial again, it worked! But it still has "Solved" as the default. I attempt to remove it and it says "You can't remove a default icon" or something along the lines of that. How may i remove it?

i think we are going to need a few screen shots of the error message it is giving you and what you settings look like when you are trying to change/fix it in the acp.

or the link to your forum but i dont think that will help that much. we will need to see what you have inside the acp.So if you can provide some screen shots that will help us better.

The first option needs to be normal with nothing in it. The second option will add the topic icons.
