Can Mods Be Granted Admin Discussion Rights?

Have a Mod and would like to enable him to read the private Admin discussions.

Is there a way to set this up? Another Admin is pulling his hair out trying to set this up.

Edit: It is possible so does anyone know where there are step-by-step instructions for future Mods? Search turned up nothing.

Yes, in forums and categories.

Go to the permissions setting to see a bunch of things you wanna check.
Check the ones you wanna add to members, guests, or groups.
Once you do that, click okay and it's completed.
