Maximum Character Limit for Messages Set At 255.

As the title states, my message character limit is set to 255. I noticed on this page Limits of Forumotion it is supposed to be 65,000 characters including spaces. I have went to: "General -> Messages and Emails -> Configuration" and don't see anything for setting the maximum or minimum limit for a message. Please help!

That's the maximum length of a topic title, NOT the message body. You have no control over changing the length of the message body, it IS 65,000 characters like you said. The topic title is another issue and it's max length is 255 characters.

I knew I should have tested this, instead of coming here first. The forum owner was ranting because he couldn't type out his "About Me" thread. It is true 65,000 is the message limit. *facepalm*
