Solved Language vs. TOS?

Post by TR on March 1st 2011, 5:01 am

Hi,

I was reviewing the Forumotion TOS today and saw that it didn't directly address language rules. Are common curse words allowed to simply spice up everyday language, in a non-racial/illegal context? (Just out of curiosity.)

Hi,

Common curse words, such as for example, the F**K, s**t, c**p, ect are accepted, provided they are not used in a discriminatory, or offensive manor.
If your forum that a game is, for example, "The game xxx is so incredibly F*****g slow it's re****ed", I believe it is permitted.
However, if you were to say, for example, "Mr. Obama is a F*****G ret****d minister, and he deserves to be fired ect" I believe this is not permitted.

The above text are for example's know world wide, there is to be no offense made, nor was any offense meant to happen

Does this assist you any further?
