then how can I get rid of that ads? I don't host those files. It's actually hosted on on those mirrors.
Did you mean that there's no way I can get rid of those ads?
You could have told us when we registered for the forum.
I could bear the ads on header but now that adf.ly is just unbearable.

thanks you for your patience and quick reply up until now. I really appreciate it much. But sharing files is a right of people. They might share hacks, cracks, i'm sure not it, but what about legit files? Or simply they just want to other people to see their new photo album?...just a suggestion but I seriously think you guys should have some kind of option to turn that adf.ly off...I think many people will agree with me about this matter.
Thanks and have a good day.

MrMario, I was re-reading your answer and I found something weird...
If it's hack or cracks...why don't you guys DISABLE all the link to those file hosting server? If it's illegal then you can just disable the link directed from forumotion to those sites right? Then WHY DO YOU GUYS STILL REDIRECT TO Adf.ly FIRST, then to those sites later? HOW CAN THAT PREVENT PEOPLE FROM UPLOADING HACKS or CRACKS? Do you guys gain money from adf.ly? Please give us a concrete answer since your reply was conflicting....

May I remind you that double/triple posting isn't tolerated unless separated by 24 hours (Use the edit button) Wink

Since I don't work or get the inside information about this I wouldn't know. I only know they did this to tell users you are going to another site. They might be making money as there is ad's. I do know they aren't going to remove this. We just need use of it and move on. If you want tell your members to right click and copy right into your address bar.
