Post by Aracnius Fri Mar 11, 2011 10:17 pm

After looking thought the forum some i could not find an answer to this, but whenever logging in or typing any kind of posts in my forum, the text color is the same exact color as the backround, i have been messing with the color schemes for a bit and havent been able to change it in anyway to make it visible... so if anyone could help

Howdy
Go to admin panel / display / advanced / colors / Text Color :

& change your text color to something other than white.
& save afterwards.

Solved Re: Invisible text?

Post by Aracnius Sat Mar 12, 2011 7:54 am

Thanks for the quick response but im afraid its still not working right, i have tried changing several different colors from white to a more light blue (including the one you told me to change) but i see no difference.
its almost like whenever typing a post that the whole entire box is highlighted bright white, the only way i can see what im typing is if i type everything then highlight it all...

Edit: after further looking into this i think the actual problem is saving it, once i change the text color and hit save it will refresh the page and say the changes have been saved, but it will no actually change the font color.
(i have tried using Google Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer but none seem to be working right)

Edit: hmm in the end we just ended up changing the forum theme and that looks like it worked, although thank you for your help

Your text is still white as long as it's white you won't be able to see it, change your text color & make sure that you save it.
Now if you don't want to change the text color you can change the form back ground color in the same area as the text color.

See image hex code for black back ground.

Be sure to tick the green check mark when you save & also the save as shown in the image
