How can I get collapsing/folding categories on phpbb2?
I've indicated the spot where I used to have a little plus/minus sign in Invision.
I only need it for one subforum.

Re: How can I get collapsing/folding categories on phpbb2?
I'm not sure if there's a way to do that, but there is a way to hide the subforums until you click on the Category.
Go to your ACP --> Display --> Structure and Hierarchy. Once there, choose "Full" for either Keep Categories on Index or Split Categories on Index. It'll show only the Categories on the main page until you click the Category. Once you do, it'll show the Forums on a new page. The difference between "Keep Categories on Index" and "Split Categories on Index" is that, when you choose to split them, there is a little space between one Category and the next Category.

Hey, thanks for that but it doesn't really solve the problem.
It's the first thing I tried.
I only want one category to be like that cause I'm planning on doing quite a few subforums for it.

If you can find the Javascript for doing it, you could probably find the right area and put it in the code. However, that'll probably add it to all your Categories.

Er anyone knows? I'm still in the need of it!
If I cannot have it for one category then the whole forum would do.

If you need it that badly, just switch to Invision via ACP --> Display --> Choose a Theme --> Version.
Re: How can I get collapsing/folding categories on phpbb2?
I had Invision and we just had a major redecoration in the forum and it got changed to phpbb2 so I won t be changing it back anytime soon.
But a way to get folding categories would be very handy.
