Solved Can I tick for last post page?

Post by el.jeffe58 March 14th 2011, 4:00 pm

On the front page of my forum, when I click on the last post next to a member's name, it takes me to the first page of the topic, not the page where the last post was made to. Can I tick something in configuration to take me to the page with the last post on it?

Also, I do not see signatures showing up, and I am sure I ticked signatures on.

Last, if a person is a moderator, who does it not show up that he is a moderator on the left side mini bio and avatar area when he makes a post.

My forum is here. http://7thstring.forumotion.com/

Thank you

1. I think you cannot configure it on admin panel. Before, when you click the post it will automatically to the last page of topic. I do not know if forumotion has problem with this issue.

2. You sure you Allow Signatures : to all members?
Admin Panel > Usergroups > Users > User Option > User Setting > Allow Signatures

3.
** Make sure you have created special rank. Admin Panel > User and Groups Ranks > Rank Administration > Add New Rank (Fill the necessary fields) and set as special Rank to > YES. You can either put image.

** After you created a special, proceed to your forum, click the username of you member/s you want to set the rank.
Click username > Click Profile beside the Administrate user > and then change the Rank Title : > you have created in your special rank.

and it will be visible now on posts Smile

That was a ton of help. It all worked fine after your suggestions! I still cannot get the page to go to the last post page upon ticking the last post on my front page. That seems to be a bug. Thanks again!

Russel...I think I just need a larger 'last post link' icon. The one showing up by default on my homepage is just too tiny. Have any suggestions?

update: I found some larger icons to use and it is looking much better. Not sure if that is a bug or just a weird forum feature where clicking on the last post text brings you to the first post of the topic v. the last. Now if one ticks the icon that'll bring you to the last post. Good enough I guess.
