Solved Abuses report

Post by phio69 on March 18th 2011, 1:57 am

Hello, everyone.

Um, well, lately I have been attacked by someone (or maybe a group of people) who sent me creepy text messages and crazy phone calls, mostly talk about porns. Not only that, I was also found at my Facebook account and my blog. I have tried my best to hide all details about me, but then today, I received an abuse report at my forum, stating that I am a spammer. Now THAT one is ridiculous. I can understand that maybe the attacks I received at real life has nothing to do with this, but still, I can't help feeling annoyed and trying to connect everything together.

But anyway, the thing is that, I am perfectly sure that I am no spammer. Heck, I only go to few forums nowadays, aside from my own. So my questions are:

1. Is it possible to track down who is reporting abuse to me? Especially when the reason is totally, totally out of mind.
2. Will I be punished? I mean, let's take for the worst case that I keep receiving such abuse report and reasons of me being a spammer or whatever. Even though it is not true, will my forum and I be 'punished' if the number of reports exceed certain numbers?

I am sorry to trouble you with this kind of question, since this is the first time in few years I've been going out as part of online community, be it as a member or as an administrator, that someone has EVER reported me as a spammer, which is absolutely not true.

Thank you very much for your help. Smile

1. No
2. Are you seeing a message from Forumotion about a report or are you seeing a active report? If you aren't see a report from Forumotion, you are fine. Just move the report to done and move on. Nothing is going to happen.

All reports that are sent to Forumotion will be reviewed and action will be taken, if necessary,

I see. Well, I think the report I received is an active report, not a message from ForuMotion. Well, that makes me relieved, thank you. Very Happy
