using outside domains??? Empty using outside domains???

Can I use an outside domain?? I bought a domain about 3 months ago, and want to use the same name, just use a different host, don't really wanna buy another domain... is this allowed?

well.. I'm using a host called namecheap, and they don't have that. there is no place for the CNAME stuff, unless I'm blind..
