  1. How do I tell what group my forum was in? Like what catagory is it in?
  2. How do I let regular members with no power at all create a group?

I have been asked this several time by a few members and I didn't know what to tell them, so I need some help.

Hello,

1. I don't get your first question, would you mind to explain more or re-state your question please?

2.Only admins have the permission to do this, you will need to give them admin permissions.

For your first question, you can check which category your forum is in by going to:

1. Administration Panel (advanced mode)
2. General Tab
3. Forums directory (on the left, under Forum promotion)
4. Click on the "Link to the category" link under "Forum Category"

Smile

Sure, here is what I need you to click on:

Groups and the forum info. Linktocategory

Once you click on that, a page with your category for the forum directory will show up. In this case, I happen to be in the "Video games - Simulation" category as shown when I click on the link:

Groups and the forum info. Gamessimulation

From there, you can search for your forum using the directory (the above screenshot), providing that you've participated in the forum directory. Wink
