Please Help-Mod deleted Topic/Thread in Error
please can you help... somehow! anyhow!
i copied a topic from one author thread to another, and when asked if i wanted to keep a shadow topic on original thread too i said yes
but then rethought it, and deleted main topic - not realising the shadow woud go too - so i lost topic altogether
the restore date is quite a way before the date of this fiasco, so i dont really want to lose all this info too
is there anyway you can access this deleted topic in your system? in any file format - and i can then input it again manually if need be.
i have attached a pdf of the moderation details .
alternately - can we restore the forum to the day of deletion, manually copy all the info from that topic; and then restore back to days info.
or does the initial restore command completely wipe the history of todays latest status?
thanks so much for your help on this.

Here is the screen shot of moderation detail
Well I am trying to upload a screen shot, but I can't figure it out. I insert the code from the host image, but it still won't display. Not sure what I am doing wrong.

Sorry, but there is no way to restore a single topic...

Ok well
"if i restore the site to get the deleted topic - which i then manually copy and paste all those posts into a word document; can i then restore the site again to todays status? or does the initial restore permanantly overwrite the current status?"

Please don’t double and or triple post. Post need to be separated by 24 hours before bumping, replying or adding more information. Please use the edit button.
If you restore your forum to a date that is listed in the founder tools you have a chance of losing resent post. You will have about 6 or so dates to pick from.

That's quite a good idea, but it wouldn't work in theory. What you can do, however, is copy and paste your current and most recent topics AFTER the deletion of the topic into a word document somewhere and once you restore your forum you can simply paste them back onto your forum.
