My categories arent showing up

When I make categories and put forums into them in the admin cp, it looks perfect like so:



so that looks perfect however the forum index looks like this:


The skin is one I got from hitskin, please can someone tell me what Im doing wrong????

Try;
Display >> Structure and hierarchy >> Split categories on index >> Medium >> Save
