Using an existing Domanin purchased from godaddy.com several months ago

Post by forexalliance on April 10th 2011, 2:59 pm

I purchased a godaddy.com domain a few months ago before I created a site on forumotion. I would like to use my purchased domain. I was wondering how difficult it will be to set up before I attempt it. I have members on my forum who need to use the forum on a daily basis for their businesses and it wont be good if my forum isn't working for a while especially on a sunday eve which is the 1st day of our work week.

Thanks for any replies.

Edit:
I have read this link http://help.forumotion.com/t7021-redirect-an-extern-domain-name-that-you-own-to-your-board and it seems very simple but reading some of the other posts, I am unsure whether I should risk possibly being off line on Sunday eve or just keep the forumname.forumotion.com domain.
