Solved Removing gap from description and top banner image?

Post by VNinjaV on April 11th 2011, 10:47 am

Inbetween the forum banner at the top and the navigation bar it seems 2 things can go there, a title and a description. When I hide the title it also removes the space that it would of filled but when I remove the description a blank space will stay there you can see here http://www.gearsofwar3chatforum.com the gap between nav bar and banner image which I am trying to remove this gap is this possible so the nav bar is directly underneath the top banner image and it's touching it?

Well the navigation bar doesn't need to be touching the top image banner but as you can see there is a big gap there where the forum description is suppose to go but now i remove the forum description then why the gap is still there this big empty gap Sad

Apologies for the delay, but try adding this to your CSS code:

Code:
.gen, .genmed, .gensmall {
    color: #FFFFFF;
    margin-top: 15px;
}
html#min-width body table.bodylinewidth tbody tr td.bodyline table tbody tr td a.mainmenu img#i_icon_mini_index a img {
    border: medium none;
    margin-bottom: -2em;
}

Hi, apologies for the delay again, but trying adding this code:

Code:
#logo-desc p {
    margin-top: 0px;
}

You may need to play around with the 0px. If only you had the site description enabled, I would be able to give you an exact number. Wink

That didn't work either but anyway I've decided to leave the description there it is good for SEO.
