Expired free domain name from Forumotion, redirects me to GoDaddy??
Expired free domain name from Forumotion, redirects me to GoDaddy??
Hello,
My forum (www.tokiohotelmalaysia.com) was given a free domain name a year ago from Forumotion due to high forum activity. It has just expired a few days ago. When I try to access the forum, it redirects me to GoDaddy.com, saying my site has been parked there temporarily. There are options to buy the domain name or if I'm the site owner, to renew it. I clicked the option to renew, but it says that I need either a GoDaddy login or customer number! I have never visited GoDaddy.com before, so I assume that Forumotion registered my domain name with GoDaddy when they gifted it to me.
I would really like to access my site's EPP code because I want to switch my domain host from (apparently) GoDaddy to Exabytes. But I can't, because I need to login to GoDaddy to get my EPP code. Which leads me full circle back to where I started. O.o
I tried to retrieve my customer number, but it ends up sending it to "****@exotikweb.com" and I've never used Exoticweb before, so... I'm very confused right now. :|
Could somebody please assist me with this??
Thank you in advance!

I read that if your activity level gets below 1,000 you will lose it. That might have been what happend to you.

No, that's not it. It was actually the end date of my free domain name for one year. :|

Hello,
I will be checking with Godaddy is the domain name can still be saved, if so I will renew for you.

You will need to access your forum through http://tokiohotelmalaysia.forumotion.com and purchase 1,600 credits to renew your domain name, as your forum doesn't meet the actual requirements to be offered.
