sign da tits, posting consecutively is not tolerated unless separated by 24 hours since the last post. This is your 2nd reminder about this.
Have you tried editing the colour through the Colors section of the administration panel?

Could you set up a demo for me on your forum so that I can see it for myself.

What sort of demo, yeah it changes colour but I want to modify it in the CSS as I don't like the colours to choose from, I want to make it glow etc..Base wrote:Could you set up a demo for me on your forum so that I can see it for myself.

As in, you make a topic and thank a message. Or, if you can already show me a link to an example of a thanked message then that would be appreciated.

when a topic message is thanked it changes colour, right? Well I changed it to the colour I desire but it's just boring I want to make it customizable in the CSS. go here http://www.devforumz.com/t82-life-is-real#503 scroll three times and you can see someone thanked me.Base wrote:As in, you make a topic and thank a message. I want to make that gray shadowed, stylish etc... as grey and standalone colours are just boring.

Are you sure that you haven't missed this in the Colors section:

It isn't possible via CSS.

Agreed, which is why I'm confused as to why editing the colours using the settings doesn't work.

It could be a forumotion bug, but I doubt it.

You can edit it in photobucket for example, then save it and upload it. That is what I do.

That's sort of exactly what I want to do, I don't want normal boring colours, and some colours don't go with the whole forum and cover parts of the text up.uafgrad wrote:You can edit it in photobucket for example, then save it and upload it. That is what I do.

So just go to an editing site and make the text etc exactly the way you would like it. Then save it and upload it to your site. Done.

I guess I don't get it then. Why could you not copy the thanks button, take it to an editing site, edit it, and then upload it again? I have changed the color of some of my buttons, so why not that one?

He is talking about the background colour of a post when it's been thanked. So to speak, it's not possible to edit using CSS.

I'm on my phone now, so helping out is hard. Can anyone post the DOM for a thanked .postbody here, so that I can check it out?
