Thanks and reputation system.

Is there anyway to change the Thanks button from a + to something i dunno, that actually says thanks and is a bit more obvious.

My forum version is PHPBB3, so can't edit templates.

Hi, the + button is not the thanks button, but rather the positive vote sign for the reputation system. You can change the thanks button image by using the pics management in your administration panel.

I found them in pics management and added a button but it's not showing up on any posts?

Sure, the thanks button only shows up for the topic creator and if there are any posts within the topic. The topic creator cannot thank himself, but only other members who post within their topic. Other members can't thank the topic creator.

To find it, please go to:

1. Administration Panel (advanced mode)
2. Display Tab
3. Pics management - advanced mode (on the left, under Pictures and Colors)
4. Buttons tab
5. Replace it there

So if a user says something helpful and another user wants to thank him, that isn't the topic starter, anyway to do this?


Also, when adding the Thanks button, It means there a re quite a few buttons at the top of the posts. This means the title is being a bit squashed. Anyway to sort this as well?

At the moment, it's not possible for anyone to thank anyone randomly.

For your topic title being squashed, I would suggest using smaller images.
