Chatbox message sound... /// Away time

IDEA 1) What do you think about that? Every time someone posts a message in the chatbox the others here a discreet sound like a little bell. Many users in my forum think this would be useful because they sometimes forget to switch to the chat and miss many messages...

IDEA 2) For the chatbox again. I'd like an option not to disconnect the users that "away"... Or maybe to let us set the time untill disconnection....

Yes, I need sound in chatbox,maybe with option sound ON/OFF.
I miss many messages too.

Well , the first Idea is kinda like Msn or Yahoo Messager , but I like it. The second was the great one.
