Activation email
Just wondering how long it takes to get the activation email for the forum. It's been a couple hours. Does it take awhile , or do i have a problem?

Re: Activation email
Should not take more than 5 minutes. Check it in your spam box.

The staff from any ForuMotion forum can check to see if your activation is pending, yes.

Re: Activation email
Are you sure the admin has the forum set for members to receive activation email?
It could be that he has it set for admins to activate all accounts.Other then that i would contact the admin of the forum and ask him if you are in the inactive list and can activate the account
No we forumotion staff have no such access to others pm or email information's.

Re: Activation email
Are you trying to register with a blocked user name? I have had more then one member trying to spam that registered with a user name I have blocked.
As has been said, if you have not received the activation yet the most likely the Owner had to activate it.
Have you tried to log into this forum?

No if someone clicked the report abuse in the footer here on support only the admins would get it.
Now if someone reported a post here, then yes we can see ip information's. we can see this.
it's set up the same way for us mods here as it would be on any other forumotion forum.
Please stay on topic.
Thank you
are you sure it did not go to your spam folder, if you do not see it in your email check the spam folder,if it's not there then try to create a new forum with the same address you just used. if it is saying the email is used.wvyankee2 wrote:Never have got my activation email for the forum.
then try to log in to your forum utilities using your email and password the forum was created with.
https://www.forumotion.com/en/utils/
then if that dose not work only typlo will be able to tell if the email was used and never activated and or sent.

Re: Activation email
Hi,
Ill try and clearly answer these anomalies.
When someone hits the "report an abuse" button, the admin and/or Moderators of the forum in question will receive a message about it.
Depending on the Admins' settings. The only information the Office see's is if someone send a a litigation request, then the office will follow it up, accordingly.
The Administrators/workers of Forumotion.com, and it's associates, are NOT able to read PM's, without logging into the desired accounts, which is not lawful, thus they will not do it - ever.
Back to the topic -
The activation Email should only take about 2 times, and no more than 5 generally.
If you haven't got the email, try to log in, the admins may have set the activation to automatic.
