Back up problem Empty Back up problem

Post by tresglamour April 26th 2011, 1:24 am

First, I want to say that I'm not the head admin on the forum, but I am in charge of it at the moment and I'm in touch with the head administrator.
On our forum, for a while now, back up is done every 20 days, I think. I don't know if someone is doing it, or someone set it to be done every 20 days. Every time all the admins loose all the options and that is our biggest problem. Is there any way we can stop those back ups?

Back ups are done at least once every 24 hour and not every 20 days. Back ups can't be stopped and domt effect the forum functions.

Hi,

Do you mean your forum is being backed up to a previous date every 20 days?

Yes. Maybe not exactly 20 days, but around that time.

I'm not sure if said action(reset back up) would appear in the acp security admin log(?) should possibly a "human" be responsible. That would be a way to find out.
I see typo is on it so thumleft

I just checked and they are there. It's showing that the head admin has restored the forum, but it's not her. We actually know who is doing it. It's the girl who was an administrator before, but we had some issues with her and she's not anymore, she also left the forum. I'm pretty sure she knows the founder password because she once deleted her profile, and the backed up the forum to return it. No one else knows that password, not even the founder, 'cause she forgot it.

You can request a new password for the tools by contacting Typlo, Luky or myself. The founder will need to do it.

OR just have the founder change their password their self,
Unless the founder forgot it then you have to do what mario said.

FOUNDER GIRL HERE. Unfortunately, I forgot the password, or at least I think so. I was sure into one password but it's not working. I can't send private messages before posting at least 2 messages here, but anyway, I showed up.
