I seem to have a problem with permissions...
Whenever I try to give permissions for moderators or myself... it redirects me to the forum!!
Admin Panel > Users & Groups > name of the user > Permissions... when I press "Permission" of the member it redirects me to the Forum!!!

Re: Problem with Permissions
Was the other PC away from your house, and on a different Internet Provider?
Could you try again on http://anonymouse.org/
There's been a further modification made to allow you to log in

Re: Problem with Permissions
Apologies for the delay, but I have forwarded this problem to Typlo once again. He doesn't work on weekends, so you need to wait until Monday.
Re: Problem with Permissions
How about you try a different forum version? Or maybe log off the forum, and than log in again. Try doing that repeatably times. If it still doesn't work. Turn off your computer and turn it back on. If the following above does not work. I cannot help you.

Re: Problem with Permissions
The only forum version I'm happy with, is "Invision", don't get me wrong.. I like phpbb's too.. but Invision is my most favorite.
Tried, logging on and off, tried loging with another name (that has the same permissions as me), I actually formated my p/c.. just in case that would work, tried logging in from different computers and different ip's... nothing.
I guess it's all up to Typlo now..
Anyway, thank you for your response.

Re: Problem with Permissions
Something I just found out...
I can choose the permissions for almost all the users that are "simple".
All the users that are, Moderators, V.I.P's, GFX Designers I CANNOT touch their Permissions!!! When I try, it immediately redirects me to the forum!
Hope that tip helped..

Re: Problem with Permissions
Try this, i dont know if it will help.
when you're setting permissions for a forum click the Cog icon, instead of the forum link. It may be that, if you havent tried, try clicking this:
and then click the permissions tab.

Re: Problem with Permissions
If a user is in a group you can edit it this way. You can just add the user to a hidden group, if this is to moerate forums

Re: Problem with Permissions
Not a bad idea.... I will try it.. Be back in a while (if you're still here) and let you know what happened.
edit I just tried to create a new group and the system told me that I have reached 250 GROUPS!!!!
For some reason, every user is a hidden group!!!!!!!!!!
I will delete them from the groups, and see what happens!!!
Edit 2
Problem found!!!!!!!!!
The system automatically put every user in a hidden group... after it reached more then 250 groups, the system stopped giving permissions to users!!
I don't really know or understand how that happened... I am just glad it's over!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you soooooooooo much Drogba 921!!!
