Announcement HTML not working
For the past week or so, my HTML editor for the announcement's page isn't working. So I cannot change the info for my scrolling announcements. It was working before, and I don't think anything has been changed. But as I toggle from the basic window editor to the html window editor, none of the features i the html window work. There are no dropdown menus for fonts, sizes, colors, etc.
Has there been issues within the forums overall? Or is this a localized issue?
Thanks in advance!

Yeah, I tried it on my other 'puter that still ran IE 8. Worked fine on that one. Its definitely IE 9 that is causing the issue!

Zcat yours in now fixed.
there was never anything wrong with it, you did not have it enabled on the forum.
Wolf i do not know why it would not be working with IE9, IE is just an awful browser and has many things do not work correctly with that.. i mean you have things work on all other browsers but not IE (they are morons) LMBO
It's really stupid on Microsoft part.. they are only the biggest OPS software developers in the world, but they cant get their browsers to be compatible and work correctly when all these other browser host do.
So i would contact Microsoft, let them know the issue and maybe they can help with it.
But all this IE stuff is really ridiculous and is getting old in my opinion.. Microsoft better start getting there stuff right or will be left behind... LOL

Kirk:
I agree. I have always stuck with IE, through all their issues. Altho, I don't usually move up until most of the quirks have been worked out. This update got by me.
My kid has gone over to Firefox long ago and has tried to get me to follow.... I may soon take his advice and choose a different browser!!

Re: Announcement HTML not working
yeah i was long time user of IE.
Now i have just about every browser. IE8,Firefox,chrome,safari,flock and opera.. never did AOL yet.
So if i run to to a problem with one then i just open another,
but yeah it can be a pain, especially for web developing. i am constantly always testing everything on all browsers.
