Banner Request

Nature of the Creation: Site Banner
Size (In Pixels): I would like it to go across the top of my site and fill up the whole darker blue part (notice my present banner does not do that)
With or Without Animation: Definitely no animation
Main Colors: I don't want any more blue on my site. Grey would be good. I want the banner to be calming and not distracting
Pictures & Links: example (just something I liked because it is calming and not too 'in your face' distracting. Maybe a cup of coffee as a background image would be nice too. Like a foaming cappucino or something.
Text to Insert : Kohl's Clearance (bigger letters) Find Kohl's Clearance Deals and Coupons (in smaller letters)
Font (Provide Download Link): Get creative. It is bound to be better than what I made
Font Color: Just make it look good. Nothing too ornate

you should try to find a couple images for possibly backgrounds or other java cups.
Also if there is a font you like check out some free fonts sites like this and let us know if you have a font you want.

there are a lot of font sites out there, so you dont have to go crazy finding something but if you see something you like let us know.

Very nice, thank you! I tried this banner on my website, and am thinking the dark grey is probably too dark for the background. So rather than than having the coffee cups on the side, maybe make the coffee as a background picture instead. For example, part of this picture:
COFEE

could somehow turn into a background for a banner, somewhat like this:

EXAMPLE

Then the font maybe pretty simplistic and a brown color or whatever other color would show up ok on that (maybe a comic font, for example in the list you gave me comic--->our gang)

Not sure if that is going to be too 'busy' of a design though.....

If the background picture doesn't work, then maybe the background a beige-like color. For example, the color of the quote box on this site would be perfect (with navy-colored letters maybe). For the coffee cups something frothy (yum! See examples below).

I feel bad asking for all this. I know it would be a lot of work. If there is something I can do in return, let me know.

PICTURES: example 1, example2, example3, example4 (with 3 and 4 being my favorite ones of these 4)

what about the size? i used the same size as forumotions banner here.
Also do you want the border any particular color,style or texture?

yeah if you want give me the dimensions and i will try to re-size this one to that,
although it might stretch it a lil.
then if not i will try other one like this with the size you want, may not be exact,if anything a lil better

I am not sure how that measuring works. I am sorry. I think you mean pixels, but I have no clue how to measure that?

Just skinnier and wider. Ha! Little help I am!

Well this is a little streatched like i thought it would?

You can try this, or i can always just go back to the normal size as the forumotion banner here is.
