Html template for Portal

Hi,

I want to use an html page for Portal that when any one visit my forum, first the portal page would display & than users can go to forum ( just like this forum ) I am not good in html & i am thinking to download a template for one web page only. I have searched & seen complete website templates, from where i can download just one page template ? & how would i use as a portal ?

You can't really use it as a portal. It will be a html page.

Okay, so there is no need to use portal for that ? What should I do If i need to use website template , how can i add html page ?

You just create the page how you want, then if you want it as your homepage you will have to add one of the forumotion icon/banner codes and set it as your home page, other then that you can always create another tab to go in your nav bar to get to the page or place it else-ware as well.
