Somebody is spamming my site...
and the way they are doing it is very ingenius. As a "logged in " member I never see this and would NEVER see it, but today I was simply checking out my site as a non member and saw at the bottom of my every pages under the heading "similar topic" there are links to other sites, some that are motionforum.net or .com or ... some that are not even related to forumotion.
PLUS, all of the links are to other topics that are NOT relevant to my forum. My forum is about DVT(Deep Vein Thrombosis) which is a serious issue, I don't want to have to deal with pornography, or religion or anything else THEN DVT.
I would appreciate a fix for this problem... AND FAST!!!
Yes I'm pissed OFF!

Don't get me wrong, I have been managing this site since 2007 and this is the first problem I am having with it. BUT, to use other sites to promote other people's site and THIS without the permission of the site manager. The thing I don't approve is the fact that many of the links to other forumotion sites do NOT relate to the site's topic, I have people that are looking at finding information about a medical problem, not to start sorting through religious sects or movie revues or...
Here is an example, under the heading of "What is DVT" we find links such as » Has Anybody tried Matrix Energetics?

you must have turned on traffic exchange lol. No need to get so annoyed about it, simply just turn it off again. With the method above. Its not a fault of forumotion, its because you have turned iton.

Re: Somebody is spamming my site...
Thank you for the advice. it is turned OFF now.
I'm the only admin on this site and I know I did NOT turn it on, what is the default setting for this setting, it must have been "on" since it's inception.
How many times do admin go on their sites as "non members"?
Once again, thank you.
Problem solved.
