How To Modify Template

Post by PervertDutchman on May 9th 2011, 4:05 am

Hy,

I'm new at forum, I would like to modify my forum with the easiest way. I've been searching for a suit theme to my forum, but recently, there's none of it suit enough. So this is why I want to edit the template by myself, my forum version is PHPBB3, and I ever tried to do "Multi-Themes" but it doesn't work so well. I was hoping that someone can help me with modifying the forum template, I'm currently using the default template from FM.

Is there any way that I could make my own template? I want to make my own, but I don't really know the size for the template content such as Header, NavBar, SideBar, Categories Header, etc. I need help, ASAP!

Can I change the version? From PHPBB3 to PHPBB2 or punBB?

yes, but you will have to edit css, incase you customize your css, and if in case you just get a skin from hitskin.com, it will not be a problem...

go to
acp>display>theme management>theme version

i think, almost all is possible.

on my css experience with phpbb2, the only thing i cannot make common with phpbb3 is

the spoiler, codebox, and quotebox, but not really significant...
its just a matter of imagination
