problem in widget

I followed a tutorial from tips and tricks section for hiding the widgets by clicking on arrow at top of the widget. Here is the link of the tutorial https://help.forumotion.com/t78898-show-hide-widgets-script
When I tried this one on my forum, it worked fine on mozilla firefox (version 3.6.13) except arrow was showing in opposite direction (means for hiding the widgets it was showing left arrow and vice versa).
Now when I opened my forum on google chrome (version 9.0.570.1) and tried to hide my widget, it left a blank black empty space. I reloded the page and when again tried to hide it, then instead of hiding the widgets moved to right side from their provided space and the scrolling bar appeared. While there is no such type of problem using this support forum in google chrome.

Most likely you need to clear your cache of your browsers.

Is anyone here to solve the problem ?
Why people don't take any action about it ?

Might be because it working right and you installed it wrong. Try doing the tutorial again.

I have again tried it but the problem is still there.
