I'm a little bit disappointed, to be honest.

When the contest was advertised that the top five would be moving on, voting actually mattered; now, with top ten, forums that garnered 40+ votes are against a forum that earned five votes.

Seems sort of silly. What was the point of voting? And why the sudden change from top five to top ten?

Yea I don't really understand the point of round 2 now. The votes were hard to get (especially after finding out the poll was up 3 days after it started!) And so I have to be honest, I am pretty upset that it was all for nothing. While its important that this should not be a popularity contest (or based completely on the amount of active users who can vote,) that number represents the passion of the community, and if you couldn't get more than 30 votes I don't think you should make it to round 3. I don't know if its possible but this round should default to what it was originally stated to be, the top 5 from round 2.

Why did we need everyone to vote to get to round 3 when the lowest voted for forum had 5 votes. Our staff team alone could have got us to round 3. While i'm at it I'd like to add Undead-xbox is more than just a forum we are a community that not only post on the forum but play together on xbox as well. Hosting anything from Zombie games to Survival and Roleplay. This adds to the greatness of the forum. The forum would be nothing without the "excellent" staff and DeadApe constantly keeping cleaning up and keeping the look of the site fresh.

They have there reasons. I would leave them alone if I was you.

i want to know what is the criteria in which you guys are voting the best site upon?

Just to let you all know. If the argument and the random chit chat about this competition continues, there won't be a the best of Forumotion 2012 contest next year because I won't approve it.

This seems to be more about who is popular than which site is the best. Its funny how the mods and admins from the help forum made it to the list. Most ethical companies bar their employees and family from participating in prize contests. Also, they get mad if we "chit-chat" about it. Didnt they want feedback or not when it comes to promotions? I think it is non-sense.

I'm not particularly sure why you're getting upset, Mario. These people asked a fairly reasonable question, one that could be easily answered.

And plus, if discussion were so taboo, you should have just locked the topic.

Fine. If you want me to give you all an explanation - if you were ranked higher than some people in the pole and are not in the top 10, chances are you cheated. You guys don't want to open that tin of beans, because public humiliations and bans will ensue. Like Mario said, lets leave it at that, if you want to rant, my PM box is always open. Also, we decided to include the top 10, because some forums posted announcements in their own forums, offering prizes for the people who voted, other werent. That is why we decided to include some from lower down since they did not make such topics.

Congrats to those whom got in the top 10

Super Mega King, we have a set amount of people for each round, round 1 was getting us to our top 20, round 2 is getting us to 10, round 3 is our top 5. Round 4, will get us next our winners and us, the judges will decide, along side your opinions & votes, will get our Top 3

Zilla.tzu, the criteria is basically rated on the following: Any coding (were taking into account beginners, and non-coders in this) some content, images/skin & layout.

Adukes_007, This is a voluntary competition, run by myself, whom is not a member of the official ForuMotion company, the only person on this forum whom is apart of the company is Typlo. Everyone else here, including the staff are voluntary who receive no money from the company.

Frontier Gander, you got to be in it to win it.

Either way, MrMario is my superior and I believe he wishes that the general conversation which is not related to the competition was over, please respect that
