Solved External Domain Name Problem

Post by Speedcar018 May 22nd 2011, 6:53 pm

I bought an external domain name from maddogdomains recently and i read the instructions to use the domain name on my forumotion page. However whenever i go to manage DS records it asks me to specify nameservers. I am new to all this domain name stuff and i am very clueeless as to what or where i will find this. Any suggestions would be useful.

hello,

the only way to manage an external domain to work with your forumotion forum is to add a CNAME record. if you don't have CNAME managment, you can't do that. having the DNS of our servers will not help you at all and you can't do what you whant basing on them...
