Right, i added it in there at the very end of the code. Still nothing.

Here is what that sections looks like:

Code:

a:link {
   color: #000000;
        text-decoration:underline;
   }
a:visited {
   color: #000000;
        text-decoration:underline;
   }
a:hover {
   color: #3488b0;
    }
a:active {
   color: #222;
        text-decoration:underline;
   }
a:focus {
   color: #000000;
    }

Ah thanks, but this makes all links not underlined right? Now my Thread links in "Latest Posts" are not underlined, but I want them underlined. Is there a way to make only the Forum links not underlined?

You're awesome. But i have a different idea, would it be possible to just increase the font size for the Thread links showing in the Last Posts column?

Hey Gangster, one more thing. I have some links that are in black font because I wanted to change the Forum links to black font and the only way I knew how was to change all the a:visited,a: active, etc colors to black.

Is there a way to change the "View posts since last visit" and all the other black links that are hard to see, to white?

here is my forum: http://sphbnew.forumotion.com/

That's an old Jalokim theme, and you'll need to be REALLY careful adding CSS. Those old themes include a copy of the system CSS, and they are very close to the 64K limit for a CSS file.

In your case, instead of adding CSS to change the forum titles, do a search on the CSS you have for a.forumtitle, and add text-decoration:none; to the entry you already have. This is also the best place to change the font size.

For your second question, same thing...look for entries for .toplinks and .userlinks, and wherever you find an entry for a link color of #000, change it to #fff.

Alternately, you might want to try changing the text and link colors in ACP/Display/Colors to #ffffff.

Thanks, but that didn't work. I looked up the .toplinks and .userlinks entries, and there is no link color setting so I added it. But it didn't work.

Here is the code:

Code:

#userlinks {
margin-left: -4px;
   padding: 0.5em;
   font-size: 0.9em;
        color: #FFFFFF
   }
#userlinks.not-connected {
   text-align: center;
   }
#userlinks.not-connected span {
   margin: 0 0.25em;
   }
#userlinks.not-connected .guest {
   font-weight: bold;
        color: #FFFFFF
   }
#userlinks p.home {
   float: left;
    margin-left: 0.5em;
        color: #FFFFFF
   }
#userlinks p.home a {
   font-weight: bold;
        color: #FFFFFF
        }
#userlinks ul {
   float: right;
   list-style: none;
        color: #FFFFFF
        }
#userlinks ul li {
   float: left;
   margin: 0 0.25em;
        color: #FFFFFF

That's my fault...I wasn't clear enough for you. What you need to find are #userlinks ul li a and .linklist ul li a in your CSS. Change the color property to #ffffff, and if one is not listed, then add color:#ffffff; to the rule.

I just checked the default Jaded skin (the one you're using), and all the links are a light cyan. So somewhere in your CSS, you have changed those link colors to black. It might be worth finding out where you did that!

Well it worked. Thanks, dion. But after I edited code it gave me:
Detected error
We have counted a different number of "{" and of "}". It means your CSS risks to be not valid and will not be posted correctly on your forum. We advise you to reread your code.

Should I ignore this? It seems to have worked despite this message.

One last thing, could you pls help me locate where in the css the "Your last visit was on Wed 25 May 2011 - 20:29" at the top of the page, and "Today's Active Topics" "Today's top 20 posters" "Overall top 20 posters" at the bottom of the page are? Thanks so much.

You should not ignore that error message! Go back and verify the changes, making sure you did not add or remove a left or right brace.

The links you mentioned are in the CSS as .statlinks ul li a and the last visit info is div.newslink p.date
